Harvest Thanks - October

We were blown away with how generous our families have been in our harvest appeal. This is going to make a massive difference to vulnerable people over Christmas. Hardship can affect anyone at any time and St Osmund’s has again shown how our mission to show love for each other is lived out. Here is our wonderful harvest display, celebrated in a liturgy on Wednesday 2nd October with Deacon John.

Armistice Day - 11th November

In school, we held a special assembly on Monday 11th November to remember those who serve in the armed forces. Our assembly service was led by Deacon John Proctor. We recognised the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces, both past and present. At the same time, our School Council represented the school at the Armistice Day Service in the Market Square.

'Green' Saturday - 16th November

Many parents, children and staff spent the morning digging and weeding and planting bulbs ready for the spring. It was a fun event and will add more than just a splash of colour in the new year!

Salisbury Railway Station Christmas Appeal - Monday 2nd December

A group of KS2 children were invited to sing a selection of Christmas Carols at Salisbury Railway Station as part of their Christmas Shoebox Appeal. The children sang beautifully and really added to the Christmas cheer atmosphere as [passengers passed through the busy station, with many stopping to listen and enjoy the carols being sung.

Festive Cheer!

As a special treat, we were kindly invited into Culture Coffee café on our return from singing at the train station, courtesy of Maria's Mum! We enjoyed a hot chocolate and cookie, and performed again to a rapturous audience in the café!
