Admissions
St Osmund’s is a Catholic Voluntary Aided primary school, within the Diocese of Clifton serving the parishes of St Osmund’s, St Gregory’s in Salisbury. Most of our children come from Salisbury and Wilton with a few from villages a little further from the city centre.
The governing body, acting in accordance with the Code of Practice and the Clifton Diocesan Policy Statement, is responsible for the admission of pupils.
Applications to Year R for the academic year 25/26
Applications for a place in our reception class at St Osmund's Catholic Primary School for the academic year 25/26 must be made using the Primary Common Application Form. This form is available in paper form but parents are advised to apply online direct to Wiltshire County Council. at https://establishmentportal.wiltshire.gov.uk/web/portal/pages/home
As a Catholic school we require proof of Baptism by way of a Baptism Certificate for every baptised Catholic child. This must be uploaded onto the Establishment Portal at the time of application and a copy sent to school.
For admission to the school in September 2025 the deadline is 15th January 2025

Consultation on Admissions Policy 26/27
St Osmund's Catholic Primary School are consulting on the Admissions Policy for 26/27 due to changes to the Tie Break and In Year admissions process. This year we will be reintroducing our supplementary form for Baptised Catholic applicants.
